02 · Patient relationships

Keep the patient relationship with the clinic.

Why a clinic-built loyalty platform focuses on retention, branded relationships, and a business model without revenue share.

Loyalty Flow · Founder & builder

The premise

The patient who already trusts a clinic deserves more attention than an endless chase for the next lead.

The operating problem

Independent clinics are often offered growth tools that place another company between the practice and its patients. The software may bring reach, but it can also own the audience, dictate the experience, or take a percentage every time the relationship produces revenue.

The response

Loyalty Flow began inside Prosper as a way to make retention visible and useful without surrendering the clinic brand. It combines a patient-facing app, web access, and front-desk workflows for points, memberships, and timely offers. The commercial model uses a flat monthly fee rather than revenue share.

Design decisions

What the work required.

  1. 01

Make the clinic—not the platform—the recognizable brand in the patient experience.

  2. 02

Support the front desk and the patient with one loyalty record instead of parallel systems.

  3. 03

Use clear earning and redemption rules that can be explained before a transaction.

  4. 04

Charge for the software rather than taking a share of the clinic's patient revenue.

What it taught me

The lessons are more durable than any feature list.

Retention is an operating practice before it is a marketing tactic.

A reward is only trustworthy when staff and patients can understand the same rules.

Software incentives should reinforce the relationship, not replace it.

Current state

Loyalty Flow is live in Prosper's own operation and is being developed for independent med spas through a founding-clinic program. Public performance claims will be added only when they are attributable and supported.
